Erin
Hudson Girard
Erin
is an educator with extensive experience in adventure recreation
and outdoor education. She was head facilitator in the Recreation
and Leisure Department at Fresno State University, specializing
in high and low ropes courses, and teambuilding. Erin has
helped build ropes courses in the Santa Cruz Mountains and
southern Yosemite.
Erin
is a certified whitewater rafting guide with Project Great
Outdoors, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing at-risk
youth to the outdoors. She also volunteers with Calaveras
County Search and Rescue and holds Swift Water Rescue, Technician
1, and Professional CPR and First Aid certifications.
Extremely
active in the outdoors, Erin's pursuits include backpacking,
rock climbing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, snowshoeing,
snowboard, and cross-country skiing with her husband, Eric,
and dog, Harry.
